With my daughters graduation from Georgetown my biggest concern was the proximity to the school. Staying here was one of the best decisions. The home itself is gorgeous, the location is ideal, and having both the grandmas under one roof worked out perfectly. I was concerned about parking my rental car, the garage made it incredibly convenient. The super market is just a short 10 min walk up the block, and the best ice cream shop in all of DC is about 10 min the other way. A full kitchen, two family rooms and two bedrooms. If I ever go back to DC this is the first place I will check for availability.
"Great Location for us to catch the subway and go to the Museums and Monuments. Nearby grocery store and pharmacy as well. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
Stayed for 6 days with family of 6. House was the perfect size for us. Not too big, not too small. Great location, 5 minute walk to Capitol Building. We drove and had little trouble with parking. This proved to be useful when my wife called me at 9 am with news that our tickets to go up into the Washington Monument were for 9:30. I was on my way to pick her up, had to turn around, get the kids out of bed and changed, and be back to the monument, and park. We were all back and in line for the monument by 9:30, which should tell you how great a location this was. While we didn't visit a lot of them, there are many great places for dinner in the area. When we go back we will be staying here again.
A trip to Washington DC and vacation with our 13 year old grandson was a huge success, in part due to our wonderful accommodations in this apartment. We were able to walk to two subway stops and two bus stops for the our public transportation. Breakfast at Jimmy T's was a great introduction to the neighborhood. We wanted to stay close to the action, so Capitol Hill is the perfect location. Everything was as advertised and offered us a very cozy location to rest and recover from our long days of touring. The dishwasher was a little tricky to get started, but Cliff quickly gave us the secret tips to get it going. Pack light because the washer and dryer were great for laundry.
We've spent a long weekend with our kids and a friend in Washington. The property is just perfect. Comfortable and well equipped. Big kitchen with all you need. This is a great spot to visit Washington, not far from Dupont Circle. Plenty of nice restaurants around. Cliff was very helpful. I would definitely stay again there in the future.
I live in DC. When looking for rental options, I was fairly picky in terms of what I wanted in my own city with guests coming to visit (we needed somewhere bigger and better to stay than my apartment). This was the perfect place. It's located exactly where I would live in DC if I could afford it. It's close to the action and will be a great spot for you whether it's your first time in DC or your twentieth. My parents also commented that they loved staying here much more than in a hotel, and really appreciated having the space and amenities of a full home. I have stayed in a number of airbnbs, and this was the easiest and smoothest ever in terms of checkin/checkout logistics. I would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks!
Nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped cozy apartment for a DC visit. Big kitchen, washer, dryer, furniture, air conditioning, big bathroom, tv and good wi fi service as well. We were 4 people and feel like home. Cliff was very helpful and polite. Close to Metro service, restaurants and supermarket. We would definetly return. Best rental experience so I can higlly recommend to 3-4 group of people.
The house is marvelous and its setting on Embassy Row superb. Six of us met in DC for a family wedding which doubled as a reunion; the house was perfect for hosting breakfasts, dinners and cocktails! Lots of room to spread out in the dining / living rooms, top-notch kitchen (we cooked all our meals), VERY comfortable beds, posh bathrooms. Wonderful back yard. Close to Dupont Circle & the Metro, nice little park right up the hill. We drove down so the on-site parking was super convenient. One caveat: kitchen cupboards are for tall folks with a good reach – stool required for the ‘vertically challenged’. All in all, a sweet place and we would definitely return when/if the time comes.
Clean, accommodating, good communication and easy to get to. Bed was great, wifi fast. Close to hotels/convention center Felt bad for my colleagues paying $300/night for a tiny hotel room!
This apartment is perfect for a DC visit. Lots of room, an updated well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, house set back from the street, parking, nicely decorated and very clean, comfy beds and lovely linens, large outdoor patio on back, close to metro, short walk to DuPont area filled with restaurants and shops. Cliff was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely return! Best rental experience so far.
